Bull Terrier Characteristics
Bull terrier is a comically imaginative breed that can be very stubborn. Bull Terriers need a lot of attention and can be destructive if left alone for too long. He is affectionately known as the “boy in the dog suit” because of his clownish and exuberant personality. They are intelligent and creative as well as loyal and easy-going. They like to be around people and can’t stand being alone for long periods of time.
They are best suited to active homes where they can get adequate exercise. They need clear house rules, otherwise they will make their own rules. With their terrier nature, they can be aggressive with other dogs, but if they have been socialized early with other dogs they can get along easily.
Due to their restless nature, it is not recommended to have this breed in homes with small children, but they are great playmates with older children. They can be difficult to educate but with constant and confident leadership, it is possible to educate them successfully.
