Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Characteristics
Originated in Canada and bred for hunting waterfowl, the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever is a medium-sized gundog.
This breed is known for their striking appearance, with a vibrant red or orange coat with white markings and a white-tipped tail.
They have an outgoing, friendly and intelligent temperament.
Tollers are highly affectionate and loyal to their families. They are wonderful with children and can get along well with other dog companions when properly socialised, however, they possess a natural reserve towards strangers.
Tollers are an active and very high-energy dog breed that needs a significant amount of exercise and mental stimulation each day.
Due to their joyful and playful nature, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers are always ready for adventure and activity.
